ISLC, through its Technical and Product Research Department has announced the recent upgrades to ISThMUS v. 2.2. ISThMUS 2.2 now comes with a new improved user interface, a dashboard, a real-time logging facility and an IPSEC functionality for Voice Over I.P.

ISLC partners with American Technologies, Inc/Proofpoint (November 2009)

ISLC announced its partnership appointment with American Technologies, Inc. , one of the leading IT distributors in the Philippines. In line with this partnership, ISLC now resells ATI products, which are globally known and reputable products.

ISLC announces tie-up with CodeGreen Networks (September 2009)

ISLC announced a tie-up with CodeGreen Networks effective September 01, 2009. Code Green Networks solutions are designed to meet specific organizational requirements for data loss prevention including protecting customer data and safeguarding intellectual property, ensuring regulatory compliance, demonstrating a standard of due care, and preventing loss of sensitive content through malicious or accidental misuse through various applications. As per evaluation of the ISLC's technical and product development team, ISLC labelled CodeGreen's products as the "true DLP solution" for it integrates data leak protection covering the network, the endpoints, and applications. PLUS, as an added functionality, CodeGreen solutions integrate file encryption on their solutions, making data leakages impossible. CodeGreen Networks support various platforms and servers and can even support thin client environments.  

ISLC introduces IS~ECBITS (September 2009) 

ISLC, in its thrust to promote IT Security literacy, launches its own newsletter, named IS~ECBITS. A weekly informational newsletter, its aim is to promote awareness on IT Security matters happening in the industry, including trends, techniques and new solutions that address threats. Written by the ISLC's Research and Technical Team, IS~ECBITS was initially launched as an email attachment and sent to preferred clients and industry partners of ISLC. ISLC will now be putting these issues at this site in the future, and can be downloaded by anyone for free.

ISLC evaluating new DLP solution, will create more proprietary products. (September 2009).

ISLC recently announced that it is currently evaluating a new DLP (data loss prevention) product, which is better and cheaper than its previous DLP product. The name of the product is still being withheld pending completion of the evaluation process being done by the ISLC Technical Research team. Also, ISLC recently announced that it will be coming up with two more proprietary products within the next 18 months. The first product will be an IT security related product (disk encryption) and the second product will be a network-based backup solution. This is in relation the ISLC vision on coming out with innovative solutions for the market at an affordable cost and efficient support mechanism.

ISLC introduces own proprietary product. (August 2009)

ISLC recently launched ISThMUS®, its own proprietary product, which is an all-in-one UTM solution for small to large enterprises. ISThMUS® combines network protection functionalities such as firewall, a proxy server, a web and an e-mail content filtering software, anti-virus/anti-spam, an intrusion detection facility and a VPN server. ISLC ties up with ALTech Global Technologies, LLC. (June 2009)

As part of its global expansion plans, ISLC recently affiliated itself with ALTech Global,LLC. Located in Los Angeles, California, ALTEC Global brings to the US all the products being sold and supported by ISLC as well as services being offered by ISLC. ISLC ties up with ControlGuard and Interguard (June 2009)

ISLC was appointed as the first Philippine partner of ControlGuard a US and Israel company specializing in end-point technologies and protection software. .

ISLC expands product suite (June 2009) 

I-Sources recently announced expansion to their product and services suite to carry Salicru UPS Systems, SineTamer Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors, IP Cameras and PointSec encryption software. The reason for the expansion is because I-Sources realizes that power, surveillance cameras and encryption is part of IT Security, whether directly or indirectly, it protects information. This is in lieu of I-Sources' thrust and to be a one-stop IT Solutions company. In relation to these expansion, I-Sources also announced that they will be providing Data Center design and construction services as well as Data Center electrical support services. These two new additional services comply with the Tier-1 to Tier-3 Data Center standards used globally.
